A Viva Bene Thanksgiving

As the Thanksgiving season arrives, I find myself reflecting on this past year—on the unexpected joys, the challenges that reshaped us, and the beautiful little moments that reminded us to pause, breathe, and appreciate all we’ve been given. This summer, we took a leap we’d been quietly dreaming about. We started Viva Bene—just the two of us, in our living room, with big ideas, limited resources, and a shared desire to build something that felt like… us.

It has been equal parts exciting, humbling, stretching, and joy-filled. Together, we’ve brainstormed late into the night, designed collections with intention, learned new systems the hard way, and discovered that blending his practicality with my love for everyday elegance is its own kind of magic. It’s funny how creating something as a husband-and-wife team teaches you so much about partnership. We’ve learned to merge our styles, our perspectives, even our rhythms—and in doing so, we continue to define what “living well” really means for us.

What began as a passion project has grown into a tiny but mighty community… and watching it evolve has been one of the great gifts of this year. Your messages, your purchases, your shared stories, your excitement over a candle or scarf or tree ornament—it all reminds us that Viva Bene is becoming something real. Something meaningful. Something we’re proud of.

This year feels especially tender because it is our first Thanksgiving as Viva Bene. Our first season sharing curated collections. Our first holiday rush. Our first time seeing items we love become a part of your home, your celebrations, your memories.
